Faze 2 Ministry

Faze 2 is a ministry devoted to creatively reaching youth in prison and the inner city with the gospel of Jesus Christ so they may live life to the maX. Seeking to create a visually stimulating atmosphere through various forms of art, illustrated sermons, and contemporary worship, F2 is led by Brandon "BB" Barber and his wife, Kristen. F2 was founded in 2005 and is headquartered in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. It began with prayer. In the solitude of a prayer shed one college student sought the face of God, it birthed a passion. On his face before God, Jesus gave him a hunger to save a lost and dying generation. It brought a plan. To creatively reach youth in prison, schools, churches, and the inner city with the gospel of Jesus Christ so they may live life to the MAX.

The Vision

In the book of John, Jesus said, "A thief is only there to steal and kill and destroy. I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of (Msg. 10:10)." Our passion at Faze 2 is to creatively convey the truth of this scripture to the youth in prisons, schools, churches, and inner city around the globe. We believe the enemy ultimately desires to destroy this generation, but Jesus died and was resurrected so that people could experience eXciting, satisfying, abundant life.

Day - 3

LIVE LIFE TO THE MAX

June 24, 2009

The third day of Faze 2 Football Camp ended with the largest group of participates. Spirits where high right from the start to hit the field and the bag's. However, the day had to start with the Faze 2 chant by all the kid's. "Live Life to the Max"

Once again each team completed 4 different offensive and defensive football station. At each station the coach would work with the kids on fundamental of football. But most importantly they would talk about living life to the MAX through Jesus Christ.

100 Degree weather did not slow down the action with plenty of water breaks and rest periods, the kids gave their best.

Football Camp could not end without a little more fun. Today the coached played dodge ball with the kids...the only catch was the balls were soaked in water. If the water ball hit you then you were out, unless you caught the ball. Then you could throw it back at the coaches. The last kid standing won a prize.

The day ended with devotion lead by Pastor Richie Mullins form Covenant Generations Church in Forney Texas and Mike Barber, former NFL player from the Houston Oiler. Coach BB "Brandon Barber" had a special surprise for each participate today. Faze 2 t-shirts, Under Armour wristbands and a Under Armour backpack.

Day - 2

99-degree weather just turned up the heat
for more football on the second day
of Faze 2 football camp.

June 23, 2009

The camp started off by breaking up into teams, then strengthening and followed up by four different offensive and defensive stations.

The pace then got faster with individual 40 yard dashes.

The Top Three 40-yard runners

1. Jayland 5.35 - Falcons
2. Na Kobe 5.59 - Rams
3. Kendell 5.81 - Cowboys

We couldn’t end the day without having more fun. Once again for some friendly completion the team participated in a water bucket relay.

The teams had to fill a bucket full of water and pass it to
the person behind them. The only catch wa s the holes in
the bottom of the bucket and it had to be passed over
their heads. The team that had the most water in
the container at the end won Faze 2 backpacks.

The day ended with cheering on the kids for a great day of fun and hard work!

Day three has much more fun and football scheduled plus a special surprise for each participate.
